On Saturday, Princess Kate consoled a devastated Amanda Anisimova after her nightmare performance in the Wimbledon final.

The American tennis star suffered a crushing 6-0, 6-0 defeat to Poland's Świątek in one of the most one-sided finals Wimbledon has ever seen.

The Princess of Wales presented Anisimova, who broke down in tears after the match, with the runner-up prize before Świątek received the winner's trophy.
