Prince Albert and Princess Charlene left their country of Monaco as they were spotted during a secret getaway in Venice on Wednesday, May 28, just a week before Prince William is due to visit Monaco.
The royal couple unexpectedly encountered tourists at Santa Lucia central train station, where they were photographed by a tour group.
The Prince and Princess likely took some time to recharge after a busy weekend following the Monaco Grand Prix, which took over the municipality for several days.
Prince Albert and Princess Charlene will be back in Monaco soon if they're not already.

It comes as the Palace announced that French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron will be making a state visit to the principality on June 7 and 8.
In addition, Prince William will travel to the principality for an environmental summit focused on ocean preservation on June 8, where he will attend alongside Prince Albert.
An Instagram account for Tour Leader Treviso, a travel company offering private English-language tours in Venice, shared the surprise meeting with their followers.
"There had been not one, but two very special guests. Did you recognise them?" the caption read in one of the Instagram posts, which was written in both English and Italian.
The royal couple were all smiles and graciously posed for photos with the group at the station. Tour Leader Treviso described the encounter in glowing terms in a second Instagram post.
"As you can see, they looked amazing, but above all, they have been really nice, polite and respectful with everybody," the caption read.
The tour company noted that the Prince and Princess took time to interact with those present, including members of the press who were also at the location.
"At the station, they took some time to share moments with journalists and paparazzi, and they took some pics and signed some pics," the tour company added.
