Princess Beatrice’s appointment as Counsellor of State led to a "glamorous style makeover", a fashion expert has claimed.
The princess got the royal promotion after the death of her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, in September 2022.
According to personal stylist Bella Hignett, the Princess of York hired a new fashion adviser around the same time as her royal promotion.
Counsellors of State include the spouse of the sovereign, and the next four people in the line of succession who are over the age of 21.

This meant Princess Beatrice had to become one after the late Queen's death, joining Prince William, Prince Harry, and Prince Andrew.
The Prince of Wales's children and the Duke of Sussex's children are all under the age of 21, so are not yet eligible to become Counsellors of State.
In December 2022, King Charles made Princess Anne and Prince Edward Counsellors of State because both Harry and Andrew had stepped down from royal duties.
According to Hignett, Princess Beatrice has had a "glamorous style makeover" since her royal appointment.

She exclusively told GB News: "Beatrice has undergone a glamorous new style makeover care of her new stylist, Olivia Buckingham.
"Olivia also works a lot with Poppy Delevigne, Carey Mulligan and other A-listers."
Hignett explained how Princess Beatrice now makes different fashion choices.
