Princess Anne is due to step out at Windsor Castle today for an Investiture ceremony, just days after returning to work in 2026.
The 75-year-old lost her crown as the "hardest-working royal" last year to her older brother, King Charles, after His Majesty performed a whopping 532 engagements.
In comparison, Anne completed 478 royal duties, 54 fewer than the King, landing her in second place.
Later today, the Princess Royal will perform an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle, an hour and a half drive away from her home, Gatcombe Park.
Broadcaster Martha Kearney will be made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) by Princess Anne for services to journalism and broadcasting.
This comes two months after she met King Charles at Dumfries House.
In November, Ms Kearney hosted a special Christmas edition of BBC Radio 4’s This Natural Life, where the King appeared to discuss his passion for the environment.
The pair were filmed walking through the Scottish estate’s arboretum, with Charles reflecting on how his love of the natural world began during his childhood.

At the time, Ms Kearney said: “It was great to see the King so relaxed in a place which means so much to him and where he puts his philosophy of nature into practice.”
Other personalities to be honoured on Tuesday include former England cricket pace bowler Devon Malcolm, 62.
Mr Malcolm will be made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to cricket and to diversity in the sport.
The Jamaican-born cricketer played at county level for Northamptonshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire and took 128 Test wickets for England during the 1990s.
