Princess Anne's son appeared to skip a reunion with the Royal Family at Sandringham this year.
Peter Phillips, 46, was nowhere to seen during the Royal Family's Christmas walkabout outside St Mary Magdalene Church.
Also absent were his daughters, Savannah, 12, and Isla, 11, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Autumn Kelly.
Peter instead spent time with his partner Lindsay Wallace in Scotland, where she was born and raised.

A photograph of the couple showed them running last-minute errands in a local Tesco supermarket on Christmas Eve.
In the picture, Peter was wearing a baseball cap and buying purchases with Lindsay.
Both were wrapped up warm for the low Scottish temperatures.
Savannah and Isla were likely celebrating Christmas Day with their mother Autumn, after they attended Princess Kate's Together at Christmas Carol concert earlier this month.

Peter and Autumn announced their separation back in 2020, with their divorce finalised in 2021.
Following the divorce settlement, the couple released a statement in which they highlighted the importance of their daughters' upbringing.
It read: “Mr Peter Phillips and Mrs Autumn Phillips are pleased to be able to report that the financial aspects of their divorce have been resolved through agreement, the terms of which have been approved and ordered by the High Court today.
"Whilst this is a sad day for Peter and Autumn, they continue to put the wellbeing and upbringing of their wonderful daughters Savannah and Isla first and foremost."

Autumn no longer attends royal events and was noticeably absent from King Charles’s Coronation events earlier this year.
However, she still has a good relationship with members of Peter’s family.
In the summer, she was pictured alongside her former sister-in-law Zara Tindall at a charity golf tournament wearing matching hoodies.
Lindsay, Peter's new partner, attended the Platinum Jubilee events and the Coronation celebrations as Peter's plus-one.
