Prince William has issued a special message to the Welsh woman’s football team as ahead of their first Euros campaign.
The Prince of Wales wished good luck to the team just days after he visited England’s Lionesses.
“Best of luck to Wales as they make their Women’s Euros debut. A proud and historical moment for Welsh football,” William message began.
“Pob lwc,” he added, the Welsh for good luck, and singed off with the customary “W”.

William’s message was also delivered fully in Welsh.
“Pob lwc i Gymru wrth iddyn nhw chwarae am y tro cyntaf ym Mhencampwriaeth Ewros y Merched. Mae hi’n foment falch a hanesyddol i bêl-droed Cymru. W,” it read.
He issued the well wishes as the Welsh National team are preparing for their first clash of the Woman’s Euros in Switzerland.
Wales’s women will face off against the Netherlands in Lucerne.
William issued the message in both Welsh and English.

Kensington Palace have said that, while he wishes Wales well, William will also be cheering on the Lionesses.
England’s women are also getting ready to take on France later this evening.
The Lionesses share Group D of the Euro’s with Wales, meaning they will play each other on July 13.
Prince William’s message comes just days after he gave a spirited speech to England's woman's football team during a visit St George's Park.
The 2025 Euro's will be the Welsh team's debut after their Women's Nations League 2024/25 campaign.

As patron of the Football Association, William met with Head Coach Sarina Wiegman and participated in several activities with the team before their title defence begins on Saturday.
During his speech to the team, William praised their exceptional unity, stating: "I have been saying to a few of you, the men's team can definitely learn off your camaraderie and your team environment.
"You are brilliant together. You create a very unique unit… so hold on to that, treasure that, build on it because it's one of your greatest assets.
The future king emphasised how the squad should approach the tournament, telling them: "I know how you are going to play – you are going to play with freedom, you are going to play with camaraderie and teamwork."
William gave a spirited speech to the Lionesses ahead of their own campaign.

He acknowledged the pressure on the team whilst encouraging them to embrace their success.
The Prince highlighted the remarkable impact the Lionesses have had on grassroots football, noting a "56 per cent rise in girls' participation since 2020."
William witnessed a Made for This Game session featuring junior girls' football teams who had been inspired by the Lionesses' 2022 triumph.
He told the squad: "You are the reason they have got into football. They are hugely inspired by what you have done – what you have created."

The Prince emphasised the transformative effect on women's football, stating: "The fact is that 10 years ago, women's football was barely seen in the light it is today, and those opportunities have changed because of what you've done."
He concluded his visit with a group photo and encouraging words to the team, particularly addressing the seven players starting their first major tournament.
"I know there's a huge expectation on you, that is good and that's also going to be in the back of your mind as you go out there," he told them.
The Lionesses flew to Switzerland immediately after his visit.
