Prince Harry has been savaged as having no ‘discernible talent’ and depicted by a hideous puppet in the return of legendary satirical programme, Spitting Image.

The infamously irreverent comedy show is returning to screens as a new YouTube show which prominently featured the Duke of Sussex in its first episode.

Spitting Image: The Rest Is Bulls*!t is the latest iteration of the show which originally ran from 1984 to 1996 which mercilessly mocked political leaders and prominent figures of the age.

Prince Harry’s latex puppet joins a cast of Donald Trump, Keir Starmer, Vladimir Putin, Elon Musk, Angela Rayner, Paddington Bear and Volodymyr Zelensky.

The series promises to deliver "a no holds barred up-to-the-minute assault on the world of politics, pop culture and media control".

Harry’s grotesque puppet, complete with a receding red hairline, features prominently in the 11-minute teaser shared on YouTube.

He hosts a podcast, The Rest Is Bulls***, alongside a bizarre depiction of Paddington Bear and is cut to throughput the show.

The Duke’s puppet introduces himself as: “I’m Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex. Just a regular guy with a title who’s fifth in line to the throne.”

Puppet Harry explained he got into podcasting as he has no other “discernible talent”.

Throughout the 11-minute duration, multiple shots were taken at the Duke of Sussex.

The puppet praised Elon Musk for “the way you’ve cut the American government down to size” and added: “I’m trying to do the same with my family!”

Harry’s lifestyle in Montecito, California, was also the subject of various barbs.

The Duke’s wife, Meghan Markle, did not escape ridicule as the show poked fun at Harry’s invented butler making him breakfast.

“Nutrition is important. So Perkins makes me a bacon sandwich in case Meghan has made another one of her rank smoothies,” the puppet said.

Another jibe had the puppet say he was undertaking a: “Session with my accountability coach.”

“I think it’s important to be honest and transparent. I haven’t told Megs about it yet,” puppet Harry added.

The show also made reference to the Duke of Sussex’s bombshell BBC interview where he claimed King Charles would no longer speak to him.

As the episode drew to a close, puppet Harry was seen on the phone asking if he could: “Speak directly to me daddy, please?”

The new series will be led creatively by Al Murray and Matt Forde, two of the writers behind the stage show Idiots Assemble: Spitting Image The Musical.

The programme will consist of "specially created, original short-form vodcast episodes" designed for "anyone with a 21st century attention span", according to producers.
