In May, Sarah's siblings supported Prince Harry at the Invictus Games 10th anniversary service at St Paul's Cathedral in London.
This event, which no senior royals attended, saw Lady Jane Fellowes joined by Earl Charles Spencer and several Spencer cousins.
Lady Jane and Lady Sarah were also reported to have attended Princess Lilibet's christening in 2023.
A source told The Express: "Everyone is hoping that there might be some kind of intervention from Jane or Charles [Spencer] which will hopefully bring them back together.
"It will take some time but it is looking like a possibility."
