Prince William appears to have learnt from an error that sparked backlash against the Prince of Wales and the Royal Family.
Kensington Palace has announced that the Prince of Wales will travel to Switzerland on Sunday to support the Lionesses in the Women's Euros final.
The Lionesses will face either Spain or Germany after they defeated Italy 2-1 in a dramatic semi-final on Tuesday evening.
Prince William attended the Women's Euros final in 2022 when the Lionesses triumphed 1-0 over Austria at Wembley Stadium.

However, just 12 months later, the Prince of Wales sparked fury when he decided not to travel to Australia to support the Lionesses in their historic first appearance in a World Cup final.
William was the President of the Football Association at the time, a role he held from 2006 to 2024.
The decision was exacerbated by the fact that no member of the Royal Family attended the pivotal match, while the Queen of Spain and her daughter both made the long-haul journey to Australia to cheer on their country's team.
James Cleverly, who was the Government's Foreign Secretary at the time, was selected to represent the UK at the event.

The day before the final, Prince William apologised for deciding not to attend the match in a video message alongside his daughter, Princess Charlotte.
Prince William said: "Lionesses, I want to send you a huge good luck for tomorrow, we're sorry we can't be there in person, but we're so proud of everything you've achieved and the millions you've inspired here and around the world. So go out there tomorrow and really enjoy yourselves."
Princess Charlotte added: "Good luck Lionesses."
The following summer, Prince William attended three of England's matches in Germany at Euro 2024 as the men's national team made it to the final of the competition.
