Prince William is displaying an "inner optimism" about Princess Kate and King Charles's health, according to a body language expert.
On Thursday, the prince visited a school in the West Midlands where he spoke with a group of schoolchildren.
Speaking exclusively to GB News, body language expert Judi James commented on how William’s behaviour with the group of schoolchildren reflects on his parenting skills and mindset regarding Kate and King Charles.
During his time with the students from St Michael’s Church of England High School, the prince told one of Princess Charlotte’s “favourite jokes.”

James observed: “William rather sweetly reverts to schoolboy mode here in terms of his body language, looking bashful and rather shy as he sits surrounded by a group of rather assertive and serious-looking students.
“He almost seems to blush as he is told to say his name and introduce himself for the microphone and he even over-talks once he gets going, like a nervous candidate at a job interview.
“His approach is ideal to encourage children to open up and feel confident around him but he is clearly so good at it that there is a suggestion he takes a self-effacing role to achieve the same with his own children.”
The Prince and Princess of Wales share three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

James continued: “The reverting to some much younger body language traits gives him an air of vulnerability as though he is quite keen to shuck off any grown-up challenges he’s currently facing and go back to a time when he wasn’t having to be in charge quite so much.
"He keeps pulling his jacket together in a self-diminishing gesture to lower his own status and he apologises before and during his joke, which he even gives Charlotte ownership of.”
William brought up his eight-year-old daughter before telling a ‘knock-knock’ joke to the group of students.

The Princess of Wales is currently undergoing preventative chemotherapy and is not able to perform any public duties.
However, the King, who was also diagnosed with cancer this year, has announced his return to public duties via a statement.
A Buckingham Palace spokesperson confirmed: “His Majesty’s treatment programme will continue, but doctors are sufficiently pleased with the progress made so far that The King is now able to resume a number of public-facing duties.”
