Prince William will step up out in London today to celebrate a landmark achievement.

The Prince of Wales will undertake engagements in the captial to celebrate the scaling of Earthshot Prize solutions.


Prince William founded The Earthshot Prize in 2020 and hosts a glitzy annual award show every year.

Today, William will meet the 2022 Earthshot Prize Winner and sustainable packaging start-up, Notpla, at The Kia Oval Cricket Ground.

The father-of-three will hear about a landmark contract they have secured with Levy UK + Ireland, part of Compass Group.

This will extend the use of Notpla boxes over 50 sporting and event venues across the UK and Ireland.

In addition, William, 41, will attend an event celebrating The Earthshot Prize Launchpad on Monday.

This is a new online matchmaking platform for Earthshot Solutions.

It can be accessed by investors and philanthropists looking to co-invest and collaborate to bring environmental solutions to scale.

Launching this platform is a landmark moment for The Earthshot Prize, GB News understands.

The Prince of Wales is thought to be seeking support for the Earthshot Prize from innovators worldwide, working to bring their solutions to scale at a fast pace.

Last year's Earthshot Prize Awards took place in Singapore, which Willliam attended with celebrities like Cate Blanchett.

Kate, 42, is resting at Adelaide Cottage with her three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five.

The mother-of-three is "doing well" according to Kensington Palace, who have not released any further details about the operation.
