Prince William's expression of "contempt and boredom" when interacting with his uncle Prince Andrew has been examined by a royal author and historian.
Speaking to GB News, Alexander Larman dissected the awkward interaction between the two royals, declaring the Duke of York is a "reputational disaster" for the Royal Family.
The Royal Family put on a united front as they attended the funeral of the Duchess of Kent at Westminster Cathedral on Tuesday.
The Prince of Wales appeared visibly uncomfortable on the steps of the Cathedral following the service as Prince Andrew attempted to make light conversation.

Sharing his analysis of the interaction between the two royals, Mr Larman told GB News: "It's a hilarious interaction to watch because you see the contempt and boredom on William's face, because Andrew is a deeply boring man.
"I mean, that's the funny thing, he isn't a sort of buccaneering, cartoonish baddie, he's just a really, really dull man who happens to be a member of the Royal Family."
Highlighting Prince Andrew's reputational impact on the Royal Family, Mr Larman added: "And so ultimately, yes, he is a reputational disaster, and the Epstein thing is a reputational disaster.
"We still don't know how that's going to play out, because obviously the Trump-Andrew-Epstein connection is a fascinatingly complicated one, and if anything is mentioned over the next 24 hours, it could get quite ugly for quite a lot of people."

Asked by host Miriam Cates if he believes there ever will be an argument for abolishing the British monarchy, the historian said: "Well, it depends how much Prince Andrew's seen in public, to be honest with you.
"Because every single time that miserable man shows his face, you begin to think that the popularity of the monarchy falls about ten points."
Emphasising the Duke's connection to Jeffrey Epstein further, he told GB News: "And obviously, Andrew's connections with Jeffrey Epstein are very live at the moment.
"Just last night, there was a picture of Trump and Epstein being put on Windsor Castle itself, and they could easily do the same today with Andrew and Epstein."
