"Amanda, I know how fond you are of Cornwall, and the Isles of Scilly, so, it would be really lovely, if you could both come along."
The healthcare facility represents a community-driven initiative backed by the Duchy of Cornwall, designed to expand medical capacity across the island group.
The redevelopment integrates NHS services with social care provision, creating what organisers describe as a more resilient and sustainable healthcare system for residents of this remote community.
A key aim of the project is enabling islanders to receive treatment closer to home rather than making journeys to the mainland.

The Prince of Wales cited Amanda Holden's love on Cornwall in his invite.
