Prince Louis has missed out on watching another Wimbledon final this year.

The Prince and Princess of Wales are watching the men's singles final with Prince George and Princess Charlotte this afternoon their youngest child is notably absent.


Prince George and Princess Charlotte accompanied their parents to Wimbledon in the summer of 2023 to watch the men's singles final between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic.

On Saturday, Princess Kate made a solo appearance at the women's singles final.

Prince Louis, 7, has never been to Wimbledon and his absence will continue for at least another year.

In 2023, Kate admitted at the men's singles final that Louis was left "very upset" at missing the event.

Today's contest is between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner with Alcaraz is appearing in his third straight Wimbledon final.

Prince George was absent from the Wimbledon men's singles final last year as he travelled to Berlin with his father to watch the Euro 2024 final.

The Prince and Princess of Wales are watching the men's singles final with Prince George and Princess Charlotte this afternoon their youngest child is notably absent.

Charlotte was present at the 2024 men's final alongside her mother and Pippa Matthews, whilst George accompanied Prince William to the Euro 2024 final in Germany that same year.

Today the Wales family met with the Gentlemen's Doubles Champions, a ball boy and ball girl, and the Wimbledon Foundation's coin toss nominees Ambrose Caldecott and Temi Johnson prior to the start of the match on Centre Court.

They also greeted Steve Backshall, who serves as Ambassador for Wimbledon's 'Championing Nature' project.

On Saturday, Princess Kate consoled a devastated Amanda Anisimova after her nightmare performance in the Wimbledon final.

The American tennis star suffered a crushing 6-0, 6-0 defeat to Poland's Świątek in one of the most one-sided finals Wimbledon has ever seen.

The Princess of Wales presented Anisimova, who broke down in tears after the match, with the runner-up prize before Świątek received the winner's trophy.

The 43-year-old royal wore an elegant cream outfit featuring a high-collared belted top and flowing skirt, paired with a £950 Anya Hindmarch tote bag.

She accessorised with a distinctive Wimbledon bow incorporating the club's official purple and green colours.
