Public relations specialist Eric Schiffer, who chairs Reputation Management Consultants, believes the overtures presented a "path" to rapprochement for Harry, adding: "I think does want it."
He believes Charles would also be seeking a return to harmony, adding: "I think the king would rather have smoother relations in a way that assists the monarchy."

Whilst no official confirmation exists regarding his travel plans, the Duke typically attends London's WellChild Awards, traditionally held in September.
The monarch's schedule that month includes hosting President Donald Trump's state visit to Windsor Castle from September 17-19, an engagement that would have previously involved Harry's participation.
Should the Duke travel to Britain in September, optimal timing outside the state visit period would significantly improve his prospects of securing an audience with his father.
