Prince Harry's strained relationship with Queen Camilla is to be examined in a new documentary, according to new claims.

Sources suggested the programme will explore the Queen's "dynamic with Harry", although no other details have been released.

The Duke of Sussex accused his stepmother in his book Spare of leaking stories to the media to improve her reputation.

He also labelled her "dangerous" and a "villain" in several interviews to promote the memoir in January 2023.

For example, in an interview with Anderson Cooper on CBS 60 Minutes, Harry said: "She was a third person in their [my parents'] marriage, she needed to rehabilitate her image.

"That made her dangerous because of the connections that she was forging within the British press.

"Because of the connections that she was forging… there was open willingness on both sides to trade information.

"And with a family built on hierarchy, and with her on the way to being Queen Consort, there was gonna be people or bodies left in the street because of that."

Prince Harry, 39, alleged that his stepmother had "sacrificed him" to improve her reputation.

In Spare, Harry wrote of Camilla: "I have complex feelings about gaining a step-parent who I thought had recently sacrificed me on her personal PR altar."

Harry also claimed that he and his brother Prince William "begged" their father, King Charles, not to marry Camilla because they feared she would become their "wicked stepmother".

Regarding the upcoming reported documentary, a TV insider said: "Although this documentary will focus on various elements of Camilla as our new Queen, her dynamic with Harry is tackled in the new show.

"That is likely to be one of the subject areas gaining the greatest attention and these Channel 4 documentaries on the royals aren't afraid to go where other profiles often fear to tread."

The source continued to tell The Sun: "These shows have proved in the past they can spark a chain reaction that lead to further revelations and create major controversy."

It comes as Queen Camilla is expected to star in a separate upcoming documentary about domestic and sexual abuse.

The programme is being made by the production company Love Monday and will see the Queen being followed by a film crew at several events.
