Prince Harry's new role has been spotted in an update to his bio on the African Parks website.
The Duke of Sussex has worked with African Parks for seven years.
He joined the non-governmental organisation in 2016 in Malawi and has continued to play a role an important role in supporting the organisation's mission of protecting Africa's national parks.
Harry has now been appointed to the Board of Directors of African Parks for his conservation work.

The Duke of Sussex's bio reads: "Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex is a humanitarian, military veteran, mental wellness advocate, and environmentalist.
"The Duke has dedicated his life’s work to advancing causes that he is passionate about, and that bring about permanent change for people and places.
"For over two decades, he has taken a deep personal interest in frontline conservation projects across Africa that work to protect the region’s natural resources and wildlife, for the benefit of local communities."
Towards the bottom of the bio a new paragraph has been added which reads: "In 2023, after serving six years as President, he was elevated to an officially appointed member of the Board of Directors, the governing body of the organisation."

It is unclear at what date in 2023 the bio was updated but there was no official announcement from African Parks.
It comes as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are split on how to move forward as the Duchess of Sussex wants to focus on building her brand, according to a source.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as working members of the Royal Family in 2020.
Since leaving the monarchy the couple have secured multiple lucrative deals and continued to build their brand.

However, a source has said that Harry and Meghan do not agree on what they should concentrate on going forward.
According to the Mirror, a source told Woman Magazine: "There's very much a feeling that Harry wants to concentrate on charity work and his family, while Meghan is much more concentrated on moving her brand forward."
