Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appear to have sent Prince William and Catherine a secret message during their recent trip to Jordan, a royal author has claimed.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex partook in their first international tour in 18 months when they visited Jordan last week.
The couple travelled to Jordan to support efforts by the World Health Organisation, but an author believes “an ulterior motive” may have been at play.
Royal author Ingrid Seward claims there may have been more to the Sussexes' trip than first realised.

Ms Seward said: “Their trip to the Middle East appears to be part political, part message – and is it a secret message to William and Catherine, or a blatant one?
“Of course, they [the Sussexes] wouldn’t have known what was going to happen [with Andrew] when they planned the trip, but the not-so-secret message is: ‘We’re here, we can help, we can do this with you’ – and that can only work to Harry and Meghan’s advantage.”
She continued: “It is very possible there could be a personal royal truce and a reunion in that sense.
“But a professional royal truce, in terms of the Sussexes ever working as royals again, is very unlikely, despite the other difficulties in the family.
“I do feel a desire from Harry for a rapprochement, because I’m absolutely certain Harry will have contacted his brother about the Andrew situation.”
The last year has seen Harry appear to begin a reconciliation with his family, having a meeting with King Charles at Clarence House in September.
Harry and Meghan were invited to Jordan by Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organisation | GETTYMs Seward went on to claim: “Both Meghan and Harry like to do things their own way, so that may always be an issue for his brother.
“William likes to be in control of everything, as we understand and so does Catherine to an extent, but Meghan is not the ideal person for that dynamic.
“I suspect Catherine will back William in whatever he is thinking or feeling about Harry.
