Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are renaming their charitable organisation from the Archewell Foundation to Archewell Philanthropies, coinciding with the charity's fifth anniversary.
The couple established the foundation following their departure from senior royal roles and subsequent relocation to Los Angeles in 2020.
Their philanthropic venture operates under the guiding principle: "Show up, do good".
The name Archewell derives from two elements: "arche", an ancient Greek term signifying "source of action", combined with "well", which represents "a plentiful source or supply, a place we go to dig deep".
