Mental health advocacy has been central to Prince Harry's public work for more than a decade, beginning during his time as a working royal.
The Duke has spoken openly about his own mental health experiences, and together with Meghan, has made the cause a cornerstone of their charitable foundation, Archewell Philanthropies.
The couple's previous Australian visit in October 2018 proved memorable, with Meghan's pregnancy with their first child, Prince Archie, announced just before the tour commenced.
Their children, six-year-old Archie and four-year-old Princess Lilibet, will remain at home during the Australia trip, as they did during the couple's humanitarian visit to Jordan in February.
