Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have “polluted” the Archewell brand and revamped their website as a result, according to a royal commentator.

Kinsey Schofield joined Patrick Christys on GBN America to discuss the couple’s controversial rebrand which has incorporated the use of their regal titles.

She told Christys that the couple may have been advised to separate themselves from the Archewell title as it is “negatively affecting” the charity.

“They’ve really polluted the Archewell brand over the last few years”, she said.

“What does Archewell do? People don’t know their core values as a charity or a foundation.

“What’s the ultimate objective there? Perhaps somebody has instructed them to separate Archewell from their personal lives, the personal chaos.

“It’s negatively affecting this charitable brand that they’re trying to get going and get people to take seriously.”

Schofield added that the use of royal titles is “not a great look”, arguing they have “taken advantage” of the late Queen.

“It’s almost as if they’ve taken advantage of the fact the Queen has gone and the King is incapacitated”, she said.

“It’s not like Harry is a working member of the Royal Family right now.

“It looks a little bit like they’re taking advantage of the situation.”

It comes amid suggestions Harry is willing to take a temporary royal role while the King is ill.

The Times newspaper reports Harry has told friends he would step into such a role while Charles is unwell.

The Duke and his father are said to have had several “warm exchanges” since the King’s illness was diagnosed, it was claimed.

The source told The Times: “On all practical levels it makes perfect sense for the family to come together to support the King while he’s sick.

“Much has been said on both sides in recent years, but that has never diminished the fundamental bond of blood, and there are now pragmatic aspects to consider, with the King and Kate’s wellbeing paramount in this.

“The details of the Clarence House meeting and subsequent conversations are private, but the feeling is that this arrangement could work.”
