The Duke of Sussex is utterly devastated over what he sees as a "hostile takeover of his life's work", according to a source.
Sentebale is an African-based charity that the Duke of Sussex and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho co-founded in 2006.
On Tuesday evening, the Charity Commission concluded its compliance case into Sentebale with a Regulatory Action Plan to address governance weaknesses.

The report found there was confusion over roles, especially around powers delegated to the chair, and lacked proper internal complaints policies with no clear processes to resolve disputes.
The Commission did not find evidence of widespread bullying, harassment, misogyny, or misconduct by Prince Harry or by any other trustees but did acknowledge that several people involved felt they had been mistreated, and that those feelings should not be dismissed.
The findings have left the Duke of Sussex furious, and he has vowed not to start another charity under their jurisdiction, according to an insider.
A source told the Mail that while Prince Harry is considering his options, he feels the Charity Commission is not fit for purpose.

The insider said: "(Harry) would categorically not do it under the jurisdiction of the Charity Commission for England and Wales, which he has no faith in and would go as far to say that he believes isn’t fit for purpose".
They added that the Duke of Sussex feels he has been a victim of an "establishment stitch-up".
The royal has also vowed not to work with Sentebale again as long as Chairwoman Dr Sophie Chandauka remains in her position.

A spokesperson for Prince Harry said: "With the original mission of Sentebale firmly in mind - and in honour of the legacy he and Prince Seeiso [of Lesotho] began - The Duke of Sussex will now focus on finding new ways to continue supporting the children of Lesotho and Botswana."
Dr Sophie Chandauka said regarding the public row following the Commission's reports: "The unexpected adverse media campaign that was launched by those who resigned on 24 March 2025 has caused incalculable damage and offers a glimpse of the unacceptable behaviours displayed in private.
"We are emerging not just grateful to have survived, but stronger: more focused, better governed, boldly ambitious and with our dignity intact."
She added: "Despite the recent turbulence, we will always be inspired by the vision of our Founders, Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso, who established Sentebale in memory of their precious mothers, Princess Diana and Queen ‘Mamohato."
