Prince Harry took aim at Donald Trump during a comedic appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, which broadcast on Wednesday evening.
The Duke of Sussex featured in a sketch where he portrayed himself seeking a role in a fictional Hallmark festive film.
During the segment, Harry pretended to be lost whilst wandering through the television studio, claiming he was searching for auditions for "Gingerbread Christmas Prince saves Christmas in Nebraska".
When Colbert questioned why genuine royalty would pursue such parts, the Duke responded: "You Americans are obsessed with Christmas movies, and you're clearly obsessed with royalty, so why not?"

The host challenged Harry's suggestion that Americans were fixated on royalty, prompting the Duke to quip: "Really? I hear you elected a king" – in what appeared to be a nod to the No Kings protests against the Trump administration.
Harry also took a swipe at CBS's recent legal settlement with the President, joking that he would "do anything" to secure the part, including settling "a baseless lawsuit with the White House – all the things you people in TV do."
When Colbert protested that he personally had not engaged in such activities, Harry fired back: "Maybe that's why you're cancelled."
The audience cheered as Colbert awarded Harry the title of "official Late Show Prince of Christmas".

The pair had teased the Duke's appearance earlier on Wednesday through a promotional video that recreated a viral moment from Great British Bake Off.
In the clip, Harry adopted the voice of presenter Alison Hammond whilst seated in the guest chair, asking Colbert: "If you were treated like a king for a day, what would you want me to do for you?"
Colbert replied in the style of Northern Irish baker Mark Lutton: "Bake for me probably?"
The exchange recreated the famous misunderstanding where Hammond believed Lutton had said "beg" rather than "bake".

The Duchess of Sussex promoted the preview clip through her Instagram story ahead of the broadcast.
Wednesday's broadcast marked the Duke's second visit to The Late Show, following his January 2023 appearance when he was promoting his memoir Spare.
That initial interview proved a significant ratings success, achieving the programme's highest viewership figures in two years.
The 2023 appearance also generated substantial international media coverage.
Alongside Harry, Wednesday evening's programme featured Academy Award nominee Michael Shannon and Irish actress and singer Jessie Buckley as guests.
