The young prince's new cut marked a significant change in his appearance

Prince George stepped out with a fresh new look at Trooping the Colour today, sporting a notably shorter haircut for the occasion. The 11-year-old royal arrived at King Charles's official birthday parade with his hair neatly cropped in a smart style.

The young prince's new cut marked a significant change from his appearance at the VE Day 80th anniversary celebration in May. His hair was slicked tidily into place, appearing to have been styled with product to maintain its neat appearance throughout the ceremonial proceedings.

Prince George travelled to the parade ground in the Ascot Landau carriage alongside his mother, the Princess of Wales, and his siblings Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7.

The Wales family presented a coordinated appearance at the military parade, with careful attention to their fashion choices. Prince George and Prince Louis both wore matching red ties, which appeared to complement the scarlet tunic of Prince William's Welsh Guards uniform.

Meanwhile, the Princess of Wales and Princess Charlotte opted for matching aqua ensembles, creating a harmonious mother-daughter pairing.

This coordination reflects the Prince and Princess of Wales's established practice of matching their attire with their children during significant public appearances.

The family's thoughtful styling choices created a unified presentation as they participated in the ceremony honouring the King's official birthday as sovereign.

The Princess of Wales and her children appeared in high spirits as they made their way to Horse Guards Parade. Cameras captured a particularly touching moment between the young princes during their carriage journey.

Prince Louis, 7, was photographed gazing at his elder brother with evident affection. The heartwarming interaction showcased the close relationship between the royal siblings.

This tender moment echoed a previous display of their bond at the VE Day commemorations on May 5.

During that event, Prince Louis was observed closely watching Prince George as he adjusted his hair in the windy conditions, before copying the exact same gesture himself.

The playful interaction at the VE Day event provided an amusing glimpse into the brothers' dynamic.

When Prince George pushed his hair back to keep it in place during the breezy weather, Prince Louis immediately mimicked the same movement.

Whilst Prince George's hair remained tidily in position after his subtle adjustment, his younger brother wasn't quite as successful.

Prince Louis's fringe promptly flopped back down over his forehead, prompting him to blow his hair back in an exaggerated manner.

The endearing scene offered royal watchers an intimate view of the brothers' relationship, demonstrating the younger prince's clear admiration for his elder sibling.
