Prince Andrew and Prince Harry have both been "punished" by King Charles, according to a royal author.

The Duke of Sussex has been told by his father that he must leave Frogmore Cottage after the Coronation in May 2023.

Whilst Prince Andrew may be forced to leave his Royal Lodge mansion as his brother looks to cut the costs of the monarchy.

Christopher Andersen told Fox News: "Booting the Sussexes out of Frogmore Cottage was not merely an act of revenge for what Harry wrote in 'Spare' about Camilla, and it was not merely a cost-cutting move.

"In one fell swoop, the King managed to look as if he was economising while at the same time punishing both Harry and Andrew — a royal trifecta."

Last month, it was reported that Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson had been left "distraught" as King Charles slashed a pivotal grant that helped his brother upkeep his mansion.

A source said: “It feels as though his brother wishes to evict him.”

They continued: “Andrew and Sarah are distraught they have been given such short notice. The Queen died only a few months ago.

“He’s not being explicitly kicked out but it’s expected that he won’t be able to afford the maintenance. Royal Lodge has a swimming pool, 98 acres of land and is already in need of some repair.”

However, according to another source, Andrew has no intention of leaving the Royal Lodge.

They told the Mirror: "He [said] he's not leaving, there is no chance that will happen and even if the King wanted him how would that work?

"The King won't evict him so there is no chance it will come to that."

The source added: "If he [the King] wants to spend millions reimbursing him for the money he's already spent on the property, that's another matter."
