The Duke of York stepped down as a working royal in 2019 after publicly discussing his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein

Today is Prince Andrew’s 64th birthday, but there have been no public well-wishes from the Royal Family as the King continues to keep him “at arm’s length.”

The Duke of York was pictured horse riding in Windsor, wearing maroon jumper.

He was snapped getting behind the wheel of his green Range Rover, with separate images showing him out riding on the estate.

After the Prince appeared on numerous court documents identifying associates of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, the prince has kept himself out of public view at his Royal Lodge.

Following the release of the documents, any questions about bringing the Duke back into the royal fold were quashed and the King has continued to keep his brother at a distance.

Charlotte Griffiths told GB News last month that Charles will keep his brother “at arm’s length.”

She said: “This is the first time since Charles became King he realised, ‘this is never going to happen, I am going to have to be tough on my brother.’

“He will have to be kept at arm’s length forever more.”

This is not the first birthday there has been no royal fanfare for the Duke of York surrounding his sexual assault case.

In 2022, Westminster Abbey confirmed that it would never again mark Prince Andrew’s birthday by ringing the bells.

In the same year Buckingham Palace announced that the prince was stripped of his military titles and his royal patronages were returned to the late Queen.

The last time the Royal Family social media accounts celebrated Andrew's birthday was four years ago in 2020.

Prince Andrew is set to be hit with three new films and series focusing on his life story and Newsnight interview.

A new series that depicts Prince Andrew’s Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis is set to be released on April 5 this year.

The new drama is adapted from Former Newsnight producer Sam McAlister’s memoir Scoops: The BBC’s Most Shocking Interviews from Prince Andrew to Stephen Seagal.

The interview was originally intended to head off speculation about Andrew's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, but the interview was a “PR disaster” and Andrew was forced to step back from public duties a few days later.

Netflix announced that it will look at “navigating Palace vetoes, to breaking through to Prince Andrew’s inner circle, the high stakes negotiations and intensity of rehearsal- to the jaw dropping interview itself.”

Additionally, Amazon Prime’s A Very Royal Scandal which recreates the interview is also set to hit screens soon.

Finally, a new film about the Jeffrey Epstein Allegations is expected to explore Andrew’s “character arc” from fighting in the Falklands War to his relationship with the convicted sex offender.
