Prince Harry is set to skip his cousin Peter Phillips' wedding in the Cotswolds today, following an incident that left the duke frustrated at his first wedding some 18 years ago.
Peter, 48, is now just hours away from tying the knot with NHS nurse Harriet Sperling, 45, in a more 'private affair' at All Saints Church, Kemble.
The guest list is star-studded: the King and Queen will attend before dashing off in the afternoon for the Epsom Derby, while the Prince and Princess of Wales are also expected to make the trip, as will the Princess Royal and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will not be in attendance, however.
It is unknown whether an invitation was extended to Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle.
According to the Daily Mail, Harry has had a strained relationship with the late Queen's eldest grandchild for some years - since his first wedding to Autumn Kelly back in 2008.
Peter is said to have agreed a deal with Hello magazine for the exclusive photograph rights worth an estimated £500,000.
Harry is believed to have been left frustrated by this, having not been made aware. He was due to introduce his girlfriend at the time, Chelsy Davy, to his grandmother for the first time.

| GETTYThe prince viewed this meeting as a significant milestone in their four-year relationship, later acknowledging his nervousness while expressing confidence that "granny would love her".
So, while the duke was aware of photographers at the event, believing it was a personal collection for the married couple, what he did not know was that his intimate family gathering would be splashed across 100 pages of the glossy celebrity publication.
Whether the two cousins ever addressed the matter directly remains unclear, however Peter has opted against striking any similar deals for his wedding to Ms Sperling today.
The Princess of Wales, attending alone while William was in Africa, was also meeting the Queen for the first time that day.

William and Catherine's attendance in today's nuptials could also have played a part in the Sussexes' decision to remain in California, as Harry's fractious relationship with his brother shows no sign of repair.
Nevertheless, Peter and Harriet will be keen to ensure nothing spoils their special day.
The couple first stepped out publicly together at the Badminton Horse Trials in May 2024, with their romance progressing swiftly.
They confirmed their engagement in August last year, with both families declaring themselves "delighted" by the news.
Peter proposed with a ring carrying a touching tribute to his late grandmother, the Queen, having been crafted by the same jeweller who designed her iconic 1946 engagement ring.
The wedding date was officially announced in April this year.
Peter, who sits 19th in the line of succession, and Harriet, 45, have been described by friends as appearing "so comfortable together."
