The Good, The Bad and The Rugby was launched as a podcast in 2020

Mike Tindall’s production company is being shut down after remaining "dormant for years", his spokeswoman has exclusively told GB News.

Newly published Companies House documents show that BigJam Productions Limited has filed an application to be struck off the register.

However, the move will not have any impact on Mr Tindall’s podcasting work.

Speaking to GB News, a spokeswoman for Mr Tindall said: "It has been a dormant company for some years and is not related to the ongoing production of the Good, the Bad and the Rugby podcast."

The People's Channel understands that BigJam Productions was originally set up when Mr Tindall and his co-hosts, Alex Payne and James Haskell, first began operating independently on their podcast, The Big, The Bad & The Rugby.

But it has not been actively used for some time because another company now handles the podcast business.

The company filing means BigJam Productions Limited could be formally dissolved if no objections are raised.

The business is not solely owned by Mr Tindall. Mr Tindall, 47, is listed as one of three directors of BigJam Productions Limited, the radio broadcasting firm linked to the rugby podcast he presents alongside former England international Mr Haskell and broadcaster Mr Payne.

While the company’s strike-off application has now been made public, GB News understands the move is administrative and unrelated to the future of the podcast itself.

The Good, The Bad and The Rugby continues to operate through a separate company, which remains active on the Companies House register.

Mr Tindall is listed as a director of that business alongside Mr Haskell, Mr Payne and four other individuals.

The latest available accounts for BigJam Productions, filed in June 2024, show the company held £45,168 in profit and loss reserves.

That marked a slight fall from the £49,408 recorded the previous year.

The directors did not publish a full profit and loss account in the filed documents.

BigJam Productions has effectively sat unused for years and is now being wound up because it no longer serves a purpose.

Mr Tindall launched The Good, The Bad and The Rugby in 2020 with Mr Haskell and Mr Payne. The podcast has gone on to become one of the best-known rugby shows in the UK, featuring interviews with players, coaches and major figures from the sport.

It has also occasionally crossed into royal territory due to Mr Tindall’s connection to the Royal Family through his marriage to Zara Tindall, the daughter of Princess Anne.

The podcast previously attracted major attention when the Princess Royal, Prince William and Catherine, The Princess of Wales appeared in a special episode recorded at Windsor Castle to discuss rugby.

During that conversation, Prince William spoke about playing rugby at school, prompting Catherine to joke: "Did you? Did you?" The moment drew laughter from those taking part and quickly circulated online.

Mr Tindall married Zara in 2011 and has since balanced media work with corporate engagements and sporting appearances following the end of his rugby career.
