Meghan Markle received gushing tributes from her inner circle in California as the Duchess of Sussex celebrated her 44th birthday.
Many of Meghan's friends took to social media to send public messages to mark the occasion.
Jamie Kern Lima, who hosted Meghan Markle on her first-ever external podcast appearances, wrote: "Happy Birthday @meghan thank you for being love, light and such a great friend to everyone who has the gift of truly knowing you!"

Kerry Washington, who has been friends with Meghan for more than a decade, wrote: "To this beautiful (inside and out) @meghan Love you so much!"
