Meghan Markle has been swamped with “rip off” complaints as her new £24 2023 Napa Valley rosé launched as part of her As Ever lifestyle brand.
The 14.5 per cent 750ml bottles are being sold in sets of three for £72, half cases for £127, or full cases for £240, not including £14 shipping.
The Duchess of Sussex's brand describes the rosé as offering "soft notes of stone fruit, gentle minerality and a lasting finish".
The wine represents As Ever's first expansion into alcoholic beverages - now available exclusively through a new website - since launching in April.

Upon launching at 4pm BST, the Duchess’s new booze was quickly met with a tide of criticism from prospective customers about the price
“YIKES!! Talk about Meghan Markup. Meghan Markle is forcing anyone who wants her wine to buy three bottles at least, totally $90 + $20 in shipping,” one potential buyer slammed on X.
They continued: “As ever a rip-off. As ever greedy... Who's going to buy 12 bottles of a wine they've never tested? That's insane! It could be absolute c**p!”
“What a SCAM. You have to buy 3 bottles, you cannot just buy one-and it’s $90 for 3 plus $20 shipping,” another fumed.

“$30 a bottle? PLUS shipping? Hilarious,” a third declared.
A more measured fourth informed: “For a Rosé it’s quite steep.”
“I’m not even gonna buy three bottles of a wine I haven’t tasted yet,” a fifth added.
However, not all were furious with the wine launch with some arguing the pricing could have been influenced by the new wine being a totally new product.

“I live in Bay Area and (the) per bottle price is on the pricey side but for winery subscription (it) is on normal price range but she doesn’t have a winery to offer subscription prices,” one speculated.
Regardless of the debate, those in the UK hoping to sample Meghan’s new wine are out of luck.
GB News understands her new booze is currently unavailable in the UK, with no immediate plans for British distribution.
A source told the People's Channel that Meghan is aware of the worldwide demand for her products and will continue to assess the brand's consumer shipping and fulfilment strategy.

The source further added that As Ever is conscious of the global interest in the brand.
As a result, British wine fans will have to wait for the booze which As Ever teased as“effortlessly elegant" and "harvested in the stunning wine country of Napa Valley".
The brand describes the rosé as “crafted for slow afternoons and golden-hour gatherings”.
“This rosé captures the essence of sun-drenched outdoor moments through its thoughtfully crafted blend,” they glowed.
