A reunion between Meghan Markle and Prince William remains unlikely following Prince Harry's Invictus announcement.
The Duke of Sussex is returning to the UK in 2027 for the Invictus Games, which will be held in Birmingham.
The Invictus Games social media account confirmed on Tuesday that the sporting event would be held from July 10 to July 17, 2027.
Despite Harry's return to England for the Games, it is unlikely his father and brother will attend due to tense relations between the Duke and the Royal Family.

When Prince Harry founded the Games in 2014, it was attended by King Charles, Prince William and Queen Camilla in a strong show of familial support.
However, since Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, stepped down from royal duties in 2020, the Invictus Games have become a separate entity from the Royal Foundation.
The Games are now organised by the Invictus Games Foundation, as opposed to when they launched in 2014 under the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.
Recently speaking to the BBC, Prince Harry said he "would love a reconciliation" with the Royal Family.

However, he noted that “some members of my family will never forgive me for writing a book, of course, they will never forgive me for lots of things."
With the King and the Prince of Wales unlikely to attend the Games, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, is also not expected to make an appearance.
This is because in that same BBC interview, the Duke of Sussex said: “I can't see a world where I would be bringing my wife and kids back to the UK at this point.”
Prince Harry, 40, had just lost his legal challenge over personal security.

The father-of-two had sought to overturn changes to his security provision while in the UK, which were made after he and Meghan stepped away from royal duties in 2020.
He insisted King Charles could help resolve the issue, though he had not asked him to intervene. “I can only come to the UK safely if I am invited, and there is a lot of control and ability in my father’s hands."
Harry explained: "I love my country. I always have done, despite what some people in that country have done.
"I miss the UK. And it’s really quite sad I won’t be able to show my children my homeland.”
