The Duke and Duchess of Sussex launched their new website last month

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been handed an olive branch by the Royal Family with a link to their controversial new site.

The Royal Family website still includes a tab dedicated to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, despite the couple stepping down as working royals four years ago.

The tab, which is under royal.uk/sussex, includes a couple of paragraphs about Prince Harry, 39, followed by Meghan, 42.

Under Meghan's section, the website reads: "Information about the current work of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex can be found on their official website: sussex.com."

This link will take royal fans to the new website that Harry and Meghan launched in February.

The couple were criticised by some for incorporating their Sussex titles into their new website, despite stepping down as working royals four years ago.

An insider told the Mail: "They are going to have real trouble with the use of Sussex.

"It is a royal title and if there is any hint of commercialism about this it will be shut down.

"It's just staggering they cannot see how gauche it is."

An explanation about Harry and Meghan's titles is included on the Royal Family website.

It reads: "The Duke and Duchess were given their titles by Queen Elizabeth II on the day of their marriage.

"The Duke of Sussex's official titles are The Duke of Sussex, Earl of Dumbarton and Baron Kilkeel.

"The duchess’s official titles are The Duchess of Sussex, Countess of Dumbarton and Baroness Kilkeel."

Earlier today, Meghan and Harry were mysteriously removed from the main section of the Royal Family website, only to return an hour later.

GB News understands the changes were part of a routine update that took a while to work through the system.

The Sussexes launched their new website ahead of a major joint appearance in Canada to promote the 2025 Invictus Games.

The event took place over three days from February 14 to February 16.
