Meghan Markle ‘spurned by A-listers’ as Sussexes strike up new relationships

Meghan’s birthday celebrations earlier this month did not see a host of A-list names flocking to Montecito.

Instead, the couple surrounded themselves with a group called “The Montecito Mafia”, according to The Sun.

According to Lady Colin Campbell, the new look for the couple is representative of a trend of diminishing relationships with star names.

The couple appeared to hold positive relations with A-listers such as the Beckham family, with David and Victoria seen at the couple’s 2018 wedding.

“Meghan has been spurned by all A-listers”, Lady Colin Campbell told Dan Wootton.

“Now she has to associate with people who she is scratching around, trying to make some money with.

“Before Meghan met Harry, she was an ‘influencer’, and now she is back to square one.

“After everything, she is back to square one, and there is no prospect of cultivating the A-listers.

“The A-list aren’t interested in having anything to do with her anymore.”

David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly the latest couple to be shunned by Meghan, with the latter reportedly accusing them of leaking stories.

The former footballer was said to be “absolutely furious” about the claim.

“David and Victoria went to Meghan and Harry’s wedding and were very supportive when Meghan arrived in the UK”, a source told The Mail on Sunday.

According to royal biographer Tom Bower, the Duke and Duchess were “addicted” to reading negative press and checking social media for a negative reception.

They were allegedly concerned that friends were leaking stories and were keen to work out who was behind it as a result.

Meghan is also reported to have sidelined her bridesmaid Jessica Mulroney.

The 43-year-old fashion stylist had a long-term friendship with the Duchess, but was accused of “textbook white privilege” in a blog three years ago by writer Sasha Exeter
