Meghan Markle has partnered with a small, female-owned British workshop for her first As Ever product release of 2026, unveiling a $18 (£13.40) leather bookmark that sold out within minutes of going on sale.

The limited-edition item, which launched on Tuesday, was created in collaboration with Sbri, a New Forest-based studio specialising in handcrafted keepsakes made to order.

Featuring the phrase "Fell Asleep Here" stamped in gold using the Duchess of Sussex's own calligraphy, the bookmark is described as "a keepsake designed for those who linger, pause and return".

The UK connection arrives amid speculation that Meghan could visit Britain this summer.

Reports suggest the duchess could accompany Prince Harry to the UK this summer for a one-year countdown event ahead of the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham.

Such a trip would mark Meghan's first return to Britain since 2022, when the couple extended their stay following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Meanwhile, the duke is expected to travel to London later this month for the start of his High Court case against Associated Newspapers Limited, publisher of the Daily Mail.

A reunion between King Charles and Prince Harry during the trial is not anticipated, as the monarch is expected to be in Scotland.

Sbri, which produces all items in-house using natural British and Italian leather, describes itself as "all about celebrating the extra things in life".

"Working with natural materials means each piece we make is completely unique," the workshop states on its website.

Meghan's new bookmark measures 2.75 by 1.5 inches and is handcrafted from sustainably sourced, vegetable-tanned leather.

Alongside the bookmark, As Ever also released a $64 (£47.50) "A Moment To Unwind Set" bundling the bookmark with peppermint tea and sage honey with honeycomb.

Promotional images showed the bookmark tucked inside a copy of Charlie Mackesy's The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse.

Since its spring 2025 launch with shelf-stable food items including preserves, herbal teas and edible flower sprinkles, As Ever has expanded into homeware, candles and wine.

The wine range is also expected to grow beyond current white, rosé and sparkling offerings.

It comes as the brand is set to mark its first anniversary in April.

Reports indicate the duchess is planning a cookbook for 2026, potentially featuring recipes from her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, alongside hosting tips.

Speaking to People about her lifestyle venture in March 2025, Meghan said: "I see myself as an entrepreneur and a female founder, and if the brand ends up influential, then that's great."
