Meghan Markle turned 44 today, and her lifestyle brand As Ever marked the occasion with a tribute to the Duchess of Sussex, whom they call “the woman behind it all.”

The tribute accompanied a new black and white photo of Meghan wearing a sunhat and a strappy dress as she strolled through a meadow.


In a birthday post shared to the brand’s official Instagram account, the company wrote: “Celebrating the woman behind it all.

“She pours her heart, vision & magic touch into every detail, and today, we raise a glass to her! Happy birthday to our founder @meghan.”

The post was uploaded on Monday, August 4 — the Duchess’s 44th birthday — and tagged Meghan directly. It follows a high period for As Ever, which launched on April 2 and quickly sold out of its entire debut product line.

The initial drop included a range of artisanal goods, from rose petal shortbread and lemon ginger tea to orange blossom honey and apricot jam. Its latest item, a bottle of 2023 California rosé, became an instant bestseller.

On the eve of her birthday, Meghan appeared in a short video posted to the As Ever Instagram page, teasing the brand’s next release: a new vintage of the much-hyped rosé wine.

In the soft, sun-drenched clip, the Duchess walked through a walled garden with a basket of wine bottles. The caption simply read: “Coming soon.”

The 2024 Napa Valley Rosé is set to go on sale during the first week of August, a strategic release timed to coincide with Meghan’s birthday.

The launch of As Ever marked Meghan’s return to the lifestyle space after her now-defunct blog, The Tig, amassed a loyal fanbase before she closed it down in 2017.

Now, with As Ever, she seems to be leaning into a polished but playful California aesthetic, offering glimpses of homegrown luxury wrapped in personal touches.

As Ever products are available exclusively through its website, which remains fully sold out as fans await the brand’s next drop.

Meghan has yet to post about the tribute on her own account, but fan response has been overwhelmingly positive, with thousands of likes appearing within hours.

Further product drops are expected throughout the year, with the brand hinting at seasonal launches.
