Meghan Markle's latest collection of her As Ever brand features candles costing £48 that promise to deliver the "scent of her family home".

The Duchess, 44, released the holiday collection, describing candle No 084 as "the signature scent that warms her family home".

The candles are an "elegant" mix of sandalwood, water lotus and California poppy.

The name is also a "nod" to the duchess's birthday on August 4, with the product's description on As Ever's website reading: "Its number nods to the birthdate of our founder, who created and curated the As Ever collection with love, intention, and care."

Each candle is "hand-poured" into the white ceramic holder featuring the brand's logo and provides an "elevated cosiness that feels like a hug".

No 084 "reflects a memory or mood connected to Meghan's own rituals and joyful memories" and is the joint-most expensive product in the 44-year-old's collection, aside from wine.

A second candle, No 519, reflects the duchess's wedding day to Prince Harry on May 19.

Also available for £48, the description of the product states: "Modern and elegant. Love at first light.

"No 519 is the feeling of warm sunshine and blue skies, surrounded by love and laughter; this signature candle is inspired by the ease and joy of a day that holds Meghan's most cherished memories - her wedding day."

It notes the scent is a mix of Moroccan mint leaf, white tea leaves and cardamom and "fills the room with a soothing, welcoming fragrance that remains our founder's tried and true favourite".

The new products were announced on Meghan's Instagram, alongside a festive video showing her picking apples, glazing a turkey and packing gifts.

The timing coincides with the approach of the Christmas shopping season, as the California-based brand continues to grow on its initial success from earlier this year.

The last time Harry and Meghan spent Christmas at the Royal family's Sandringham estate was in 2018.

Harry and Meghan walked to church on Christmas Day with Prince William and Princess Kate, a group dubbed "the fab four".
