Meghan Markle will star in a festive special episode of her Netflix lifestyle show as part of a raft of new projects announced with the extension of her partnership with the US streaming giant.

With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration will arrive on screens in December, promising viewers the chance to join "friends and family deck the halls" at the Duchess of Sussex’s Montecito mansion.


On Monday, it was announced that Netflix would continue its "creative partnership" with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, through their production company Archewell, in a "multi-year, first look deal for film and television projects".

Along with the announcement, it was revealed that the long-awaited return of Duchess’s show with the streamer, With Love, Meghan, would return later this month.

The statement also trailed an upcoming special episode of the show, themed around the holiday season.

"This December, join Meghan in Montecito for a magical holiday celebration," it began.

"Together, friends and family deck the halls, create holiday feasts, craft heartfelt gifts, and share lots of laughs – with simple how-tos to follow at home."

The statement concluded: "It's a holiday wonder with warmth, tradition, and a generous dose of joy."

It remains to be seen which friends and family will be joining Meghan for the festive offering.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex originally signed a five-year deal with the streaming platform after stepping down as working members of the Royal Family in 2020.

Thrilled about the continuation, Meghan said: "We're proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As Ever brand.

"My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally, and celebrates our shared vision."

The streaming company will also advance their partnership with Meghan's lifestyle brand As Ever and extend the current product range.

Regarding the second series of With Love, Meghan, the announcement promised: "A fun and heartwarming new season, welcoming celebrity chefs, talented artists, and beloved friends for hands-on adventures filled with laughter and discovery."

"From playful cooking challenges to DIY projects, Meghan and her guests explore bold flavors, experiment with new techniques, and discover simple ways to add beauty to everyday life.

"It's all about embracing playfulness over perfection and finding joy in creating together," the statement detailed.
