Princess Diana's niece Lady Kitty Spencer showcased her flair for fashion at Monaco's prestigious Rose Ball on Saturday evening.

The model and philanthropist attended the glamorous Monte Carlo event alongside Monaco's royal family, including Prince Albert and Princess Charlene.

For the occasion, Lady Kitty selected an empire-line creation from Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda, the Italian fashion house where she has served as a global ambassador since 2021.

The gown's sported needlepoint embroidery, which drew inspiration from Jacques-Louis David's 1789 The Loves of Paris and Helen.

Sharing images from the evening on social media, Lady Kitty described the dress as "a work of art".

The elaborate gown featured a corset adorned with coral, crystal and pearl embroidery, creating an intricate effect.

Lady Kitty's family members were quick to express their admiration on Instagram following her posts from the ball.

Her sister Lady Amelia Spencer responded with "so beautiful wow" beneath the photographs.

Greg Mallett, who is married to Lady Amelia, praised his sister-in-law's appearance, commenting that she looked "unreal" at the prestigious event.

This year's Rose Ball was a collaborative effort between Princess Caroline, shoe designer Christian Louboutin and Benoit Miniou, a creative director and scientist who previously worked at Hermès.

The theme promised guests "a spatial, musical and sensory odyssey to the farthest reaches of the cosmos," with the concept aiming to transport a princess of Monaco into orbit.

Princess Caroline attended alongside her daughter Princess Alexandra, who was accompanied by her boyfriend Ben Sylvester Strautmann.

Also present was Beatrice Borromeo, wife of Princess Caroline's son Pierre Casiraghi, who wore a Christian Dior Haute Couture gown for the occasion.

As the evening progressed into karaoke, Ms Borromeo was spotted performing ABBA songs.

Prior to travelling to Monte Carlo for the ball, Lady Kitty had been spending time with her daughter Athena in Cape Town.
