King Charles’s chefs clashed with Donald Trump’s security team in Windsor Castle as the State Banquet unfolded, a source has claimed.
Several members of the Secret Service team, who protect the President of the US, went into the kitchen to oversee the preparation of food for the banquet.
A source claims that the royal chefs’ preparation was disrupted and at some point some of the food was tasted by the Secret Service team as a precaution.
However, the clash behind the scenes did not affect the experience of the US President or the other guests at the lavish State Banquet on Wednesday evening.

A source told the Mail regarding the incident: “The banquet was a resounding success in the main hall, but there was a disruption behind the scenes.
“Tensions flared between the chefs preparing the meal and the US security team responsible for protecting the President and his entourage.
“The chefs, working to plate three courses flawlessly, grew frustrated as US Secret Service agents repeatedly checking and even sampling all the food.
“What began as quiet irritation escalated into a heated exchange, with raised voices on both sides.
“The visiting party was very easy to deal with and very appreciative of the hospitality.

“It took several minutes for tempers to cool and for the kitchen to return to its usual rhythm.
“Guests in the hall remained completely unaware of the row, but in the kitchen, it was impossible to miss.”
However, Buckingham Palace has denied the claims that King Charles’s staff clashed with Donald Trump’s security.
The Palace statement said: “This story, and these claims, are categorically untrue."
However, a different royal insider described the State Visit as an “awesome spectacle” and the Trumps as “very easy to deal with” throughout their time in the UK.

The source said: “It was very pleasing to see the way the state visit has been warmly received both by the guests and the media on both sides of the Atlantic.
“The visiting party was very easy to deal with and very appreciative of the hospitality.“All elements of the pomp and pageantry created an awesome spectacle.
“You can tell from the expression of the principals how much they appreciated it.”
