The Palace have now issued a statement rubbishing an alleged clash at the royal residence

Buckingham Palace has denied claims King Charles’s staff argued with Donald Trump’s security in Windsor Castle.

Sources have claimed that several members of the Secret Service team, who protect the President of the US, went into the kitchen to oversee the preparation of food for the State Banquet on Wednesday evening.

An insider stated that the royal chefs’ preparation was disrupted and at some point food was tasted by the Secret Service team as a precaution.

The reports state that tensions flared between the security team and royal chefs behind the scenes, but guests at the State Banquet were not affected.

“The chefs, working to plate three courses flawlessly, grew frustrated as US Secret Service agents repeatedly checking and even sampling all the food.

“What began as quiet irritation escalated into a heated exchange, with raised voices on both sides.
