Perks include an “excellent” pension scheme, complimentary lunches, and a 20 per cent discount at Royal Collection Trust shops. Applications close at 23:55 on August 31.
The job listing comes as King Charles settles into his summer stay at Balmoral. His arrival was marked by a military ceremony, during which he inspected Cpl Cruachan IV, the Shetland pony mascot of the Royal Regiment of Scotland. The King was also presented with a Guard of Honour before attending a church service.
According to the BBC, the event featured soldiers performing with pipes and drums. Despite the warm weather, which reached 23 °C, the King stopped to chat with tourists from Germany, the Netherlands, and France.
This year’s Balmoral gathering is also set to include some less frequently seen members of the Royal Family.
