Meghan Markle has not commented on GB News's revelation that Prince Harry made an effort to rebuild bridges with the Royal Family.
The People's Channel was the first publication to report that the Duke of Sussex left a personal letter and a wreath of red poppies at the Burma Star Memorial, which formed part of national VJ Day commemorations.
The gesture was carried out discreetly by a friend after King Charles and Queen Camilla had departed the service, ensuring it did not draw attention away from the tributes to those who fought in the Pacific and Far East during World War Two.
The Duchess of Sussex, however, did not add her name to the letter, a silence that has not gone unnoticed.

Commentators have pointed out that Meghan has been quiet during several of Harry’s recent challenges, including his tense departure from Sentebale, the charity he co-founded to support children orphaned by Aids in Lesotho.
Harry stepped down earlier this year following a high-profile dispute with chairwoman Dr Sophie Chandauka.
The clash led to criticism from the Charity Commission, which rebuked both sides for allowing the row to play out in public.
Sources described Harry as "devastated" by the fallout, and many had expected Meghan to show public support.
Instead, the Duchess has carried on with her own projects. In her latest Instagram video, she was seen preparing a lemon pasta spaghetti dish, following an earlier post promoting the upcoming second season of With Love, Meghan.
Royal expert Dr Tessa Dunlop questioned Meghan’s approach, telling the Mirror: “Now that Meghan and Harry have signed a new Netflix deal ('looser' and apparently less lucrative than the previous £78million one but a deal nonetheless), might the Duchess find her voice?
“Not the one she volubly uses to hawk As Ever wares (in conjunction with Netflix) but rather the voice Meghan famously re-found after leaving the Royal Family, the one that talked her truth to royal power and surely could talk her truth to the Sentebale fiasco?
“No, really, why hasn't Meghan come out batting for Prince Harry in his latest round of verbal fisty-cuffs concerning his former African charity?

“After all, the Duke has consistently spoken out in support of his wife, establishing the precedent early on and against the wishes of his family when he condemned Britain's media coverage and insisted he had never before witnessed such a 'degree of pressure, scrutiny and harassment' from the press.
“As it currently stands, Harry cuts a lonely figure. The Charity Commission identified a ‘strong perception of ill treatment' swirling in the unhappy waters of his former charity, Sentebale.
“It was a terse ruling that exonerated no one; all parties remain incandescent, particularly the aggrieved prince, who insists the report has fallen 'troublingly short'.
“In other words, the Duke of Sussex's nemesis, Dr Sophie Chanduka, is still at large, running Harry's former beloved Sentebale.
“The Duke could really do with some public TLC, especially from his wife, whose own issues with said Dr Chanduka were allegedly caught on camera at a polo match Sentebale fundraiser.”
The couple recently confirmed they have renewed their deal with Netflix, announcing a “multi-year, first look deal for film and television projects.”
While Meghan was quick to highlight the agreement, industry commentators suggested the terms mark a downgrade from their original reported £78million contract.
