The monarch and his heir have put their 'rivalry' behind them, sources have claimed
King Charles is "supported by Prince William" amid the royal feuds with Prince Andrew and Prince Harry, sources have claimed.
The Prince of Wales, 41, was front and centre at D-Day commemorative events last week as both the monarch and Princess Kate continue with their cancer treatments.
Sources have suggested that Charles might once have disliked his eldest son being more visible in public.
However, with his cancer treatment and a smaller number of working royals to hand, the King is likely pleased to have William's support.

A friend of the King claims that in recent years, Charles has consulted his son on family issues involving Prince Andrew, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Their joint efforts to tackle these issues are understood to have boosted their relationship.
The insider said: "If there was ever a green-eyed monster or a sense of rivalry between the two, that is a chapter of the past.
"The King sees his son as a useful ally on family matters and increasingly in discharging the duties of nation and state."

A source close to William continued to tell The Times: "He very much wants to support his father.
"That isn’t something new, but of course with everything the King is going through with his treatment, he will continue to support him as much as he can."
The Prince of Wales is believed to have been a source of counsel for the King regarding Prince Andrew.
Charles is currently locked in crunch talks with Andrew over his residency at the Royal Lodge.

The Duke of York has been living in the £30million household since 2003.
He is thought to be resistant to moving into the smaller Frogmore Cottage, once called home by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
With Charles's cancer treatment continuing, the Prince of Wales is playing a larger role in senior royal duties.
