Highgrove Gardens has welcomed a new product to its selection

King Charles has taken a leaf from Meghan Markle's book with the release of a new honey jar at Highgrove Gardens.

The honey, labelled "Highgrove Harmony Royal Garden Honey", is priced at £20, with only 750 jars being produced.

The product has been inspired by His Majesty's new documentary, Finding Harmony: A King's Vision, and the "natural beauty of Highgrove Gardens".

The limited amount of jars is described as "extraordinary" on Highgrove's website, and is "produced by the royal bees".

Highgrove's newest product reads: "Experience the exquisite taste of Highgrove Harmony Royal Garden Honey, crafted exclusively for Highgrove by Fortnum's from the three ornate hives nestled in the gardens of Highgrove House.

"These hives, a gift to His Majesty King Charles III for his 70th birthday, produce a precious annual harvest of exceptional character and depth.

"Each jar is hand-numbered, with only 750 jars available this year, celebrating the premiere of Finding Harmony: A King's Vision, a documentary honouring His Majesty's lifelong dedication to harmony with nature."

It shares that the product has been "gently creamed by hand for over seven days [and] the honey has a texture as smooth as butter".

The product's overview continues: "The blend of spring and summer crops, including the fragrant linden blossom from the lime tree avenue, creates a complex yet delicate flavour profile.

"The result is an indulgently creamy honey with layers of floral and citrus notes that linger on the palate.

"Perfect enjoyed on warm toast, drizzled over yoghurt, or stirred into tea, this is one of the most extraordinary honeys in the Highgrove collection, embodying the essence of the Royal Gardens and the spirit of sustainability."

Buyers will receive 250g worth of honey upon purchase for the limited available product.

Potentially inspired by Meghan's As Ever brand, the monarch's jars are 100 per cent honey and suitable for vegetarians.
