Legal representatives for a woman who alleges Jeffrey Epstein sent her to the UK for a sexual encounter with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor have called on King Charles to make direct contact with them.
The demand follows the release by the US Department of Justice of more than three million additional pages of material linked to the disgraced financier on Friday, published under the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
Lawyers acting for the unnamed accuser, described as a second woman to make allegations against Andrew, said any testimony he might provide would be “irrelevant”.
They argued that only a “sincere and real apology” from the monarch could allow the Royal Family to “maintain any level of credibility” with survivors of Epstein’s abuse.

Brad Edwards, a lawyer from the US firm Edwards Henderson, has previously told the BBC that his client spent the night with Andrew after a tour of Buckingham Palace.
Andrew, 65, is referenced repeatedly in the newly released Epstein material.
The document trove included images reported to show a man resembling the former prince crouched over an unidentified woman lying on the floor.
Additional documents appear to show email exchanges between Andrew and Epstein, including messages discussing a “beautiful” Russian woman and an apparent invitation for Epstein to visit Buckingham Palace.

King Charles removed his brother’s royal titles last year following the posthumous publication of Virginia Giuffre’s book, in which she alleged Epstein and his former partner Ghislaine Maxwell trafficked her when she was 17.
Andrew settled Ms Giuffre’s civil sexual assault claim out of court in 2022 while maintaining that he had never met her.
He has consistently and vehemently denied any wrongdoing in connection with the allegations.
Sarah Ferguson, Andrew’s former wife, is also referenced in the newly released files.
LATEST ROYAL DEVELOPMENTS
Andrew was seen today with a glum expression | REUTERSEmail correspondence dated September 2011 appears to show her accusing Epstein of using their friendship solely to gain access to Andrew.
“It was soooo crystal clear to me that you were only friends with me to get to Andrew. And that really hurt me deeeply,” she wrote, adding: “More than you will know.”
In the same exchange, she congratulated Epstein on the birth of a baby boy, saying she had learned of the news from “the Duke”, despite Epstein having ended contact with her.
Brittany Henderson, also of Edwards Henderson, issued a statement following the publication of the new material.
She said: “Andrew’s power only existed because of his royal family.
“Andrew’s complicity and involvement with Epstein and Maxwell has been well known to us, to Andrew, and to the Palace for many years.”
Ms Henderson dismissed the prospect of Andrew travelling to the United States to give evidence, saying: “Whether he comes to the United States to testify is irrelevant; we hardly need more people over here spinning grand stories.”
She added: “For the Royal Family to maintain any level of credibility in the eyes of the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein, the legal team for the King should contact me immediately in a good faith effort to learn what Andrew has done, meet whomever he has done it to, issue a sincere and real apology, and ensure that any victims of Andrew are fairly compensated for this wrongdoing.”
In October 2025, after announcing Andrew's royal titles would be removed, a statement from Buckingham Palace read: "Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse."
GB News has contacted Buckingham Palace for a response to Ms Henderson's comments.
