King Charles and Queen Camilla have issued a heartfelt statement to mark Father’s Day.
The touching message, featuring throwback images of the monarch alongside his late father, Prince Philip, came just a day after the Royal Family gathered for Trooping the Colour.
The post was made alongside a similar message issued by Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis for their father, Prince William.
“To all Dads everywhere, we wish you a happy Father’s Day today,” Charles and Camilla said in the message shared across social media.
The King shared a throwback image of he and his sister, Princess Anne, being pushed on a swing by their father, Prince Philip.

Two throwback images were attached alongside the caption showing the King and Queen with their own late fathers.
The first, in black and white, showed Prince Philip pushing a very young Prince Charles and Princess Anne on a swing.
Charles could be seen standing on the seat while Anne sat as their father grinned from ear to ear holding onto the ropes.
Also shared was a video compilation of Philip, beginning with a clip the late Queen Elizabeth II and her husband pushing a baby Charles in a pram.
A video shared on social media also showed sweet moments between Charles and his late father.

The former Duke of Edinburgh was also seen playing with his infant son on a picnic blanket.
Philip and Charles could also be seen watching a procession of pipers, sailing and running in a garden with Anne.
In the second image of the original post, Camilla could be seen alongside her father, army officer and businessman Major Bruce Shand, on the day of her wedding to the then Prince Charles.
It showed Camilla alongside her father as she held a bouquet of flowers.
A sweet image of Camilla and her father, Major Bruce Shand, was also shared.

The King and Queen’s post came at the same time as a heartfelt Father’s Day tribute to Prince William issued by his children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7.
Prince William and Princess Kate's three children personally signed off the statement which accompanied two pictures of the trio.
“Happy Father’s Day, Papa (before and after!) We love you! G, C & L,” they wrote.
George, Charlotte and Louis children concluded the message with their first name initials and a gleaming love heart emoji.
