The monarch has not revealed what form of cancer he has

King Charles’s cancer diagnosis “raises more questions than answers”, Nigel Farage has claimed.

The GB News presenter says newspapers tomorrow will be “wall-to-wall” with speculation about the monarch’s condition and what it entails.

Buckingham Palace will be expected to come forward with more information in the near future, he added.

Farage spoke shortly after the shock announcement from the Palace, who also said the monarch has begun a schedule of regular treatments.

“I expect Buckingham Palace will have to give us more details in the coming days.”

King Charles’s son, Prince Harry, is set to return to Britain to visit his father amid a public fallout between the pair.

Farage believes this could be indicative of something more serious as a rekindling promises a “form of rapprochement”.

“I’ve no doubt this is quite a serious situation”, he said.

“I think the problem for Buckingham Palace and the King, other than the personal trial the King is about to go through, is this.

“The statement says, ‘His Majesty has chosen to share his diagnosis to prevent speculation.

“I think that is just not the case. Far from preventing speculation, I expect over the course of the next days and weeks, there will be questions as to what the nature of the cancer is.

“There will be speculation as to what stage the cancer is at.

“When it refers to his treatment, it doesn’t tell us if that is radiotherapy or chemotherapy.”
