The charity’s initiatives include Homewards, which aims to ensure homelessness is rare, brief and unrepeated, the Centre for Early Childhood, working to create a healthier and more nurturing world through early years development, United for Wildlife, which combats the illegal wildlife trade, and Community Impact, which supports projects creating long-term benefits in local communities across the UK.

Her appointment comes at a pivotal moment, as the Foundation seeks to expand and scale up its programmes.

It has been confirmed that Ms Berry will remain closely involved, taking up the newly created position of Global Partnerships Ambassador to help drive William and Kate’s philanthropic vision.
