Prince William and Princess Kate have thrown a party for the workmen who helped them move into Forest Lodge sooner than expected.
William and Kate laid out a “thank you” party at The York Club, a private pub near Forest Lodge, after moving into their “forever” home on Friday.
The venue is a members-only club for residents and employees of the Crown Estate. Last month, it was revealed that William and Kate had made arrangements to move their plans forward to leave their former home of Adelaide Cottage.
“The couple very sweetly just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has worked tirelessly to help,” a local source revealed.

An insider revealed: “Every part of Adelaide Cottage, sadly, had an unpleasant memory associated with it.
“It's a lovely house and they started with such high hopes, but in the end they have experienced some of their most challenging times there as a family... Little wonder that William feels like it was cursed.”
The princess underwent a course of chemotherapy, in an experience that the prince described as “brutal.”
