Princess Kate has sent a personal message of support to England’s Red Roses ahead of the Women’s Rugby World Cup Final at Twickenham this afternoon.
In a note shared by Kensington Palace, the Princess of Wales wrote: “Good luck England!
“Wishing the very best of luck to the Red Roses in their Women’s Rugby World Cup Final at Twickenham today. We’re so proud of you! C”.
The message was released alongside a previously unseen photograph of the Princess with members of the England squad, taken during the group match she attended in Brighton earlier this month.

The newly released photograph shows the Princess of Wales smiling with Red Roses players in the Brighton changing room during the group stage earlier this month.
She is wearing a red cowboy-style hat decorated with an England rose, while members of the squad sport matching white rose hats.
The backdrop features the word Brighton, marking the venue of the fixture.
Earlier this morning, Buckingham Palace released a statement from King Charles.
It read: "My wife and I send our warmest good wishes to both the England Red Roses and Canada Women's Rugby Team as you prepare for your World Cup final.
